US telecom equipment vendor Telsima recently announced it is establishing a manufacturing facility for wireless broadband products in Bangalore, India. Telsima will aim its production not only at the worldwide market, but will also manufacture value-line offerings for Indian operators in order to increase the penetration rate of broadband use in rural regions of the country. The company recently obtained US$20 million in funding from different companies, including Intel Capital, and a considerable part of this sum will be allocated towards the new production facility.
